Cotswold Spring Classic Latest Results
Taking place on Easter Monday (5th April) and based from Cirencester - the heart of the Cotswolds and Roman capital of Britain – the Cotswold Spring Classic takes in some of the best roads in the South West. Giving you a taste of truly classic Cotswold countryside and some of the most feared climbs in the area, including the pub-to-pub ascent of Birdlip Hill – made famous by the Tour of the Cotswolds and Tour of Britain, before riders head for the Stroud Valley.
On the day, riders are able to choose from two routes of either 105km or 105 miles (170km), with 1,071 and 1,667 meters of climbing respectively (TBC). This early season test is a great way to round off the Easter weekend, and will give those riding the etape or other big sportives later in the year a real confidence boost - or not!!
The ride will be comprehensively signed, include neutral service (provided once again by Performance Cycles - both at the feed stations and out on the road), the dreaded broom wagon, chip timing, NEG outriders and a good supply of food at the manned feed stations on route. A team of top photographers will also be on hand to capture you at your best – probably near the top of a climb!!
Costing just £24.50 per person, entry is limited to just 750 places - so book early to avoid disappointment.
More details of the event to follow shortly, including the announcement of event partners and other activities for the rest of the family taking place during the day. Why not make spend your Easter weekend in the Cotswolds in 2010.
