Wiggle Mendips - 1 Week To Go

Now in its second year, the Wiggle Mendips Sportive is a stunning ride that will take you through the Mendip Hills – and area of outstanding natural beauty. There are over 700 participants signed up already for the event on the 12th August.

The Cheddar Gorge Forms Part Of the Route

The route, which starts from Keynsham near Bristol, weaves its way through the Mendips and riders will pass the stunning Chew Valley Lake and Blagdon Lake, before heading up the first of two gorges. The first is Burrington Coombe, and the second in Cheddar Gorge, which was also included in a stage of last year’s Tour of Britain.

The quiet nature of this area and roads will ensure the riders can explore the area in peace, taking in the picturesque views along the way. All the normal UK Cycling Events qualities are associated with the Wiggle Mendips.
