Let Them Eat Cake Presents Cake and Cycling on Jubilee Weekend

by Holly Blades

Cakes and cycling are the perfect partners, so with an extra Bank Holiday this year to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee, Patisserie Cyclisme and Polocini Events have joined forces to launch a sportive that features both.

Taking place on Tuesday June 5th, the bonus Bank Holiday, this event will be the perfect end to a long weekend. The ride starts from Nantwich and takes in 60 glorious miles on excellent roads through the Cheshire countryside and even features a feed station at the legendary Eureka cyclists café.

Louise Mullagh, founder of Pâtisserie Cyclisme, the UK’s leading website for cycling café reviews and culture says “This is the perfect opportunity to get out on your bike to make the most of quiet roads while everyone is watching the Jubilee on TV and chance to sample the delights of Eureka while you are at it.”

The sportive will be organised to the Polocini event standard and included in the £20 entry fee is all drink and cake as well as a CNP nutrition pack, post ride massages, photographer, prize draws, insurance, motorcycle outrider, support van and of course the food. Polocini are renowned for having the best food at any sportive and Pâtisserie Cyclisme guarantees the best cake (tried and tested!)
