Wiggle Jurassic Classic - This Weekend

It’s now only days to go until over 750 plus riders set out on a brand new event to experience some of the most picturesque (and challenging) cycling Devon has to offer.

As well as offering a rewarding challenge, the ride has been created to raise funds to support the 250,000 men currently living with prostate cancer in the UK, and fund research into better understanding the condition.

On the same day that Team Sky begin their attempt to bring a second Grand Tour title to Britain in La Vuelta a Espana , our 750 plus riders will embark on 100km and 100 mile chip-timed routes, both starting and finishing at Exmouth Rugby Club (10 miles from Exeter), along courses crammed full of Devon’s cycling highlights.

Straight out of the Dave Brailsford school of ‘marginal gains’ are the feed stations, stocked with High5 nutrition, M&S sandwiches, as well as local, endurance-boosting Devon specialties - specifically designed to keep energy levels at their optimum (including, but not limited to, cake). Riders will be greeted at the end of the ride by a buzzing event village, including live music (and free artisan Cornish pastie), where they can celebrate their accomplishment with their family and friends.
