Il Marcha Cicloturista Alberto Contador Announced

Up and Active are now hosting a weekend of cycling in Madrid, which includes the second Marcha Alberto Contador Sportive Event. The 102kmm or 182km Racing Sportive is well organised, full of atmosphere and has closed roads, police out riders, plenty of fast racing and Alberto himself.

It is an event not to be missed for the keen racing cyclist to feel like a professional rider for the weekend.

The weekend caters for intermediate and experienced cyclists who hold a cycling road license (not compulsory but advised, this event is not for beginners). Come and enjoy the full weekend of riding, racing, living the Spanish lifestyle and enjoying the experience of a top Spanish Sportive.

3 night or 4 night Options:
3 nights - Thursday 24th May - Sunday 27th May - Cost £340
4 nights* - Thursday 24th May - Monday 28th May - Cost £390 *(*for two sharing, single supplements available)

Programme:
Thursday 24th May: Arrival at Madrid & transfer to Pinto, hotel check in, build bikes & evening meal at hotel.
Friday 25th May:Group ride including start and finish loop, supermarket trip, race entry, group dinner in Pinto.
Saturday 26th May: Marcha Cicloturista Alberto Contador, post race party at the finish, prize presentations, dinner in the hotel.
Sunday 27th May: Sunday Club Ride with the local Spanish riders, departure to airport for 3 night stays, visit Warnerbros Park for 4 night stay.
Monday 28th May: Easy Recovery ride, departure to airport for 4 night stays.
