Competitors and spectators can view constantly updated leader-boards with performance statistics including;

·         Speed
·         Distance
·         Vertical
·         Time
·         Laps
·         Sectors

The results-boards are displayed on multiple monitors, creating excitement and involving friends and family in the action in a manner that was previously not possible. All results are calculated automatically.

Flaik also allows Pendragon Sports to increase the level of safety offered to all participants with the integration of the flaik™ GPS and course map, which broadcasts the location of every rider at all times ensuring a rapid response if necessary.

The flaik™ Re-Live Your Day feature enables course officials, participants and spectators the ability to view where each rider traveled on the course while at the same time indicating their real-time speed. Combined with flaik™ GPS-based checkpoints, it is possible to confirm in real-time which sections or gates a participant has ridden through and how long each section took. And will include times for each categorized climb.

Nick Bourne of Pendragon commented: "It will be an exceptionally memorable event this year with the ride taking place over the Jubilee weekend in the build up to the Olympics. The Routes remain the same as last year apart from the third and final stage which sees the introduction of a new Climb to the summit of Exmoor National Park."

Taking in some of the most beautiful countryside and landmarks on the UK, the event is open to anyone of any skill; those experienced cyclists or those getting into the sport who want to take part in a professionally run Sportive.
