A Kilo To Go sportive ride doesn’t just begin at the start line. It starts from the instant you arrive at our website, to way beyond arriving back at home safe and triumphant. At any Kilo To Go bike ride you always get the same high quality, precision organisation - no matter how different the terrain and scenery is - from Cheshire to Cornwall and Mercia to the Fens.

500 riders took part in the inaugural White Peak in 2011 and with a few changes the evnt should be even bigger and better this year. The headquarters has been moved to the Carsington Water visitor centre so there is lots of free car parking, a restaurant, café bar and lots more for people to see and do on site. The routes have been reversed from last year toinject some freshness into the course. This also brings even more spectacular views and enjoyable descents to the event with a gentle run-in past Carsington Water and onto the finish.

The Wiggle White Peak sits snugly in the Peak District National Park and has some of the best scenery in the UK, it’s high up there at nearly 2000 feet above sea level. The terrain is unforgiving but with two fully waymarked routes and feedstations on offer it gives participants the chance to enjoy the harsh terrain. A good Autumnal day out.

By riding the Wiggle White Peak sportive, you are also helping us to raise awareness and create sponsorship opportunities for KiloToGo’s 2012 charity partner, Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research UK is the World's leading cancer charity.

If you’ve never ridden a Kilo To Go event, check out their two other Autumn events: The Lancashire Hotpot is on Sunday 16th September and The Wiggle Rut closes British Summer Time on Saturday 27th October.
