SRS Events Launch On The Rivet Reliability Trial

At a cost of only £12 to enter the ON THE RIVET Reliability Trial is a must do early season event, starting and Finishing in Burgess Hill on the 19th February.
Organised by SRS Events on behalf of a new cycling club in Brighton called ON THE RIVET Velo Club this reliability trial has two routes at 48 or 74 miles to choose from.
Unlike many Reliability Trials this event will be heavily marked with arrows guiding riders around the routes. There will be feed stations on route to help riders keep their energy topped up. The 48 mile route will have one feed station and the 74 miles route will have three feeds stations. All feed stations are based at village halls where riders log in their brevet cards.
On return to the HQ, riders will be able to entitled to a free snack meal.
Riders with GPS Computers or Smart phones can also record their ride on Strava to see how well they compared in segments of the route. Signing on starts at 8am with the first Rider off at 9am. Riders have until 4pm to finish the ride.

Entrants to this ON THE RIVET reliability Trial on the day of the event will be eligible to a reduced entry to any of the future SRS Events Cyclosportives in 2012.
At only £12 to enter this event is a bargain and those that take part should have a great day out on the bike at this event.
This is a reliability ride so riders should come prepaired mechanically, mentally and with the fitness to finish in the time given. All riders will be given a phone number to call should they require mecanical assistance. A broom wagon will pick up any riders that can’t make it back to the HQ.
This event like all SRS Events cycling events is raising funds for the Sussex Heart Charity, you don’t have to donate to the charity to enter this ride but any funds you do give will be greatly appreciated.
