Who names a sportive after a sausage? Can't imagine the Pork and Apple Pedalathon or the Morrisons Tomato and Beef Mountain Madness, but then the Andouille Assault could be a possibility.

Grimpeurs des Wolds Cyclosportive - by Leadlegs (13/09/2009)
Cycle Sport magazine went to great lengths to explain why this year’s Tour de France route looks like a bear. In the same spirit of allowing imagination to run riot, the Grimpeurs des Wolds 100km route looks a bit like a gremlin to me. Not the cute and cuddly form, but the water after midnight, mischievous, havoc-wreaking type. I just hoped that this didn’t reflect the character of the route itself. |
