This is just to let you know that after first releasing the results of the event on Tuesday (13/5/2008), we discovered that some riders had inadvertently been omitted from the results list.

Alex Araujo and a couple of his London Dynamo team mates managed to hang in on the front for the whole 4 days of the Kelloggs Tour of Ireland!

Sportive Riders get more in the form of the GORE BIKE WEAR Road Sportive Series ‘08. Following the increasing popularity of the road sportives and the ambitions to turn the MTB marathon weekends into a cycling festival, four road sportive events have been confirmed for the new season.

Starts off on the 24th May with Round 1, in Ruthlin, Wales.

With other events full this weekend, the Archer GP Chiltern Classic this Sunday 18th May has extended entries on the line to cater for those wanting to get a ride. Classic event west of London with two routes of 75 miles and 108 miles around the Chilterns. Quiet country lanes.

Rob Jebb and James Dobbin smash the fastest time, with a total of 5 riders dipping under the incredible 6 hour mark.

Covering 108 miles, the Southern Uplands Sportive will finish outside the radar station at the summit of Lowther Hill. At 725 metres it is the highest road in Scotland - the first UK Sportive with a "mountain top finish"!

Last year members, by way of the forum asked for a sportive that took in the infamous Devil's Staircase climb in Mid-Wales. Well Phil Weaver and his team from the Autumn Epic answered the call with this great new sportive!

One lucky finisher also has the chance of winning Orbea Orca Carbon Frameset on the day! 10 significant climbs over 100 miles and 3,300 metres of climbing with 25% on the Devil!
