Great event, a very challenging course through some great countryside on good roads with little traffic. I experienced no problems with signage which is unusual for me as I normally get a bit lost somewhere (Though I do live locally to the start so that helped). Plenty of food / water / energy powder available at feed stops. Red Kite team were very friendly and helpful. Emergency card with phone number handed out at start. Overall a very well organised event

What a fantastic ride - exceptional scenery, with some incredible climbs! It was tough but the scenery more than made up for it - a trip to the seaside and a trip to the mountains and lakes. The route has to be a classic! Very friendly staff and riders.

What a great event, probably the best sportive done to date, fantastic route, both scenic and challenging. The route marking was excellent, never a doubt as to which direction to take. food stations were excellent, plenty of variate and friendly service and toilet facilities available. Another great event by Neil and his team. The new chip timing system worked perfectly with times available straight away and posted in good time. Would definitely recommend doing it and I hope to do so again.

This is probably the toughest event that I have done. I live in the area and therefore know most of the route but the organisers managed to sneak in a couple of excellent climbs that I had not done before.

Feed stations were excellent and good signage and friendly organisers.

This was a brilliant event, great start/finish location with good facilities, exceptional feed stations, with real food and the some of the finest carrot cake I've ever eaten, and well placed clear signage made the route easy to follow. The real star of the show was Snowdonia, and this fantastic route takes you through some breathtaking scenary. I'll definately be doing this event again and would recomend it to any one who loves a real challenge.

Very well organised, friendly people, good value. Exceptional route with mostly smooth roads, and every type of beautiful scenery imaginable: hills, mountains, villages, fields, lakes, see, woods. Toughest but most enjoyable sportive I have ever done.

What an event - truly epic. 100 miles of some of the toughest climbs I could imagine. Anyone who rode all of those climbs deserves total respect.

The feed stops on Red Kite Events are second to none - supplied by The Drovers Rest and delivered fresh to the feed stops, homemade cake, quiche, etc plus High 5 products. They even had spare tyres and tubes not the feed stops if needed!!

I agree with the previous comment - some of the more established organisers really need to up they game. Red Kite Events have seriously up'ed they game this year.

I would recommend any Red Kite Sportive, I have heard from friends that the MTB events are a real must do.

Thanks to the Red Kite Events team for the wrecked body today!

The Bala Devil was a fantastic event. The route was superb and stunningly beautiful. The food stops were great with proper food as well as energy products. Signage on the day was excellent and the pre-ride GPX log was very useful. The organisers were friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this event and look forward to doing it again.

Well organised. Particularly good signage. It would have been nice if the leisure centre had been open later but that was out of the control of the organisers (perhaps I should have finished sooner !)

Well done with the weather

Well run event. Excellent signage which had been checked in the early morning. Good food stops. Bala Leisure Centre is an excellent base as you can shower afterwards.

Very well organised ride. Puts some of the larger, more established organisers to shame - Kilo to Go's recent Cheshire Cat is a classic example.

Food stations well stocked; signage clear and frequent; excellent route. Definitely doing this again next year.
