The Classic route is a 150km test through the hills of central Wales. There are big, notable climbs along the way that are well loved/feared by participants plus a memorable tour of the Elan Valley lakes and dams. The notorious Glascwm climb after 100km (25%) is a well known feature of an event that has been stretching riders to go beyond themselves since 2005.
The Autumn Epic set the standard for sportives in the UK and as such has all the resources and support riders expect:
- Route signs
- Electronic Timing
- Food Stops
- Broom Wagon
