This is the UKs highest event on public roads (632m) with the start and grandstand finish at the CairnGorm Mountain centre - Scotlands Alpe DHuez - near Aviemore. Setting out from the heights of CairnGorm and passing through the heart of the iconic Cairngorm National Park, the route undulates through beautiful forest and moorland, passing some of the world's most famous whisky distilleries, before a final lung-bursting 350m climb back up to the finish where riders will be welcomed by stunning views of the Spey Valley spread beneath. The event offers a choice of a 50 mile or a 100 mile route.
