We have produced 3 outstanding routes suited to riders of all abilities. Though the ride distances and distances will look similar to last year, let me assure you all 3 routes are a lot more difficult than last years. All 3 routes will go up Furnessfold Road onto the top of 'Wray Fell' (local name).
The 71 mile route also now goes over Harrisend Fell, Beacon Fell, Longridge Fell (via Jeffrey Hill) and Waddington Fell to Slaidburn and onto Furnessfold Road and finally Roeburndale and The Scout Camp.
The 104 mile route includes all of the above plus Bowland Knots. This route will probably set a new level of difficulty that no other sportive can match.
As you can see, we have not just added mileage (that would be easy), instead we intend to show you other superb areas of The Forest of Bowland.
