7th Edition UCI Wiggle Magnificat is back for another year!
Join us on Sunday 3rd June 2012 - Bank Holiday weekend, at Newbury Racecourse HQ.
This is an event for everyone - from seriously motivated cyclists to families and children. 127mile Magnificat with 2800m ascent will test and challenge you every mile of the course, a perfect opportunity to test your fitness and endurance for Etape, Marmotte and major summer sportive events, as well as Golden Bike Dragon Ride the following weekend.
The Wiggle Magnificat is renowned for its ability to bring together competitive, experienced, club, leisure, and family cyclists. It’s a charity event that will see entrants have the chance to support The Fire Fighters Charity
There are three main challenges for the day: the 51 mile Communicat, 81 mile InterCat and the big challenge of the 127 mile Magnificat. As the longest route, the Magnificat takes on 9 major climbs and has a cumulative ascent of 2,800m – making the final downhill flourish back to the finish at Newbury Racecourse a moment for legs to savour! For intermediate and new sportive cyclists, the InterCat and CommuniCat routes (respectively) are perfect – with ample refreshments and smiles to keep riders energised!
