First 100 sportive myself and husband has ever done and I can honestly say the organisation was fantastic - brilliant signage, food stops well organised and all the staff were very friendly. I don't usually fill in comments but just felt I should as we were so impressed with the event. Will we return next year?- it's too early to say yet ahah

Good Friendly sportive I have now done the following all organised by Matt Porter
Paul Kirk x2,Ross Tiger x1,Trent Valley x1, Flat& Fast x1These are all at a reasonable cost.
As I am a pensioner money is tight so cannot afford other more expensive sportive's (e.g. tour of Yorkshire 2015 hardly any food at the first feed station none left at the second) Keep it at this level please See you at the Ross Tiger in July

1. Feed stops: only my personal opinion but it looked like you might be left with a lot of the wrap sandwiches I didn't see many being taken on the other hand cakes and other snacks and drinks were sufficient
2. signage: excellent well marked out
8. the Course ; overall an excellent course lovely villages and mostly quiet roads
there was only one area I saw a problem and that was on the main road up a hill near retford where a group of riders shielding a Blesma Hand Bike had traffic flying up behind pulling in one driver Very impatient there was double white lines could of been a bit nasty. oh and the last 5 mile How straight is that road !!
well done to your team great event

The whole experience was fantastic, from the day we entered up until we got in the car homeward bound, whether you're a nervous beginner or experienced rider the whole day was first class, friendly, and we can't wait for the one in October.

My first 100 mile cycle ride, I would highly recommend this event to 100 virgins. The direction signs were fantastic which meant I could enjoy the ride without worrying about taking a wrong turning. No queues for the women's toilets, what a bonus!

Did this last year and it's clear there were tweaks introduced to improve it. e.g. registration outside the building with the toilets when last year inside caused bottlenecks. Staff much more au fait with the process (experience). Feed stations better positioned and better equipped to deal with numbers. Very friendly and helpful marshals. Already a very, very good event becoming an excellent one. Will be sure to be back next year and a massive well done to Matt and his team.

Hi Matt,

I would just like to say, today's Sportive has been excellent.

It's my 1st time doing one, let alone doing 100 miles on my Road Bike.

The 100 miles was a mile stone for me as i've never completed that amount b4.

The Pace we had with our Group from Cycle Supreme (CSCC) was good, I think we where
the largest group out today by the looks of it.

The whole event was Very well planned and managed from leaving to getting back, the food stops
where Brill as so quite a few people said on Facebook, very good Signage and plenty of Marshals at the
points where riders could have gone wrong.

I say thank you to you & all the Team who helped out today on behalf of all the Riders.
