Welcome to one of the oldest established sportives on the UK calendar.
Now in its 11th year the ever evolving Forest of Dean Classic road sportive has gone 2 -DAY with a new route on Sunday, The MONMOUTHSHIRE CHALLENGE, over roads all within the county and offering a good testing ride following some of the British Championship route of 2014 where possible.
Monday remains the Classic day taking in over 8000ft of climbing in 90 miles.
The shorter version remains for those wanting to try a sportive or want an easier day after the "Challenge Ride" the day before there's something for everyone.
The original Forest of Dean Classic was organised for training towards the big continental sportives where climbing was needed, but with good testing sportives now here in the UK, this event is now a must to complete your training.
For those staying over we are planning a Pasta Party and some entertainment on the Sunday night in our traditional Trade village, plus as many activities we can arrange, all within 5 minutes' walk from Monmouth Town centre.
