Milton Keynes Bike Ride
08/07/2017 - Milton Keynes - Charity Ride
Weeks to go until event: less than 15 weeks
You're invited to a very special birthday party this July. In 2017 the famous town of Milton Keynes turns 50, and to mark the occasion, we've given one of our popular bike rides an extra special revamp so that cyclists of all ages can come and join the celebrations.
With on and off-road routes, each of which has a 50 km or 50 mile option to choose from, and a children's ride, there truly is something for cyclists of all ages and abilities on this unique 2 wheeled day out.
Exact details of our brand new routes will be available soon. However, tying in with all things 50, there will be the option of taking on a 50 mile or 50km route either on or off-road.
Whichever route you decide we can guarantee some spectacular Buckinghamshire countryside views, an incredible atmosphere and an unrivalled sense of achievement upon crossing that finish line.
Coronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer. By funding cutting edge research, we are determined to put a stop to the damage heart disease causes. But we can't do so without your support. Your registration fee goes towards the cost of organising the event, but it's the money you raise that powers our life saving research. We're therefore asking all riders taking part in this year's event to raise a minimum of £100 in support of our work.
Completely planned, organised and managed by the British Heart Foundation, this event exists in order to raise funds for our life saving research. Research that will, one day, put a stop to the devastation caused by heart disease.
Creating an online fundraising page is the easiest way to raise money. It takes a few minutes to set up and a link can then be easily shared with your friends and family on social media and by email. Remember, you're taking part in an amazing challenge - people will want to support you.
