The Great Shakespeare Ride

THE GREAT SHAKESPEARE RIDE is a challenging sportive cycling event over a demanding course taking in some of the Cotswolds' and South Warwickshire's most beautiful villages, challenging climbs and rolling terrain. The date this year is Sunday 7th August, starting at The Stratford Manor Hotel approximately 2 miles outside Stratford-upon-Avon and easily accessed from the M40. There will be a 100 mile tough(ish) sportive, incorporating 6 categorised climbs, 100km challenge ride and a 20 mile leisure ride with a picnic stop half way. We are trying to offer something for all standards of cyclist. We can promise a great challenge, stunning scenery on a course that has been designed by local cyclists and extremely high standards of organisation. The ride is being organised to help raise awareness and funds for The Shakespeare Hospice based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
