`A great day and a great race. Course took in both quiet and good quality roads with only a few danger areas caused by the weather. Despite the all day rain, the event staff were very cheery and provided a welcome boost on what was a lonely long distance course. HQ staffed by Scouts and extra helpers to make sure the day went smoothly. There were more than enough toilets, free car parking spaces and food station/hq food to go around. Excellent signage (except for once where there were two signs in different directions). Arrows at every junction gave confidence you were on right route. Mostly on quite lanes, though a couple of sections on busy A roads were not pleasant. V. friendly staff. food stations great - especially the sausage rolls. Overall v. well organised. A tough 200km ride with much of the climbing in the first quarter.

SRS run good, well signposted events, with nice touches (certificates at the end etc). They are probably on the pricey side, but really well done and with a variety of distances have something for all abilities of rider.
