SWRC - Mayflyer - Altura Sportive Series

This event is in its 14th year and going strong and its populatity is always on the increase with 500 entries in 2011. There's a choice off two routes , 80k which meanders around the North Downs while the longer route of 140k takes you down to Amberley in Sussex , returning on a different route off quite country lanes.

Both routes are challenging and while some will enjoy the climbs off Coombe Bottom on the return leg , everybody should enjoy the quite lanes off Surrey and Sussex , both routes start and finish at the Oxshott Club.

At the finish there will be a free drink and sanwiches in return for your number. Ther will be a SAG Wagon on duty and a rolling mechanic , plus medical staff.

Photographs will be take out on the course by Phil O'Connor (www.sportivephoto.com). Both routes will be fully marked with arrows on the tarmac and eye level signs.

Emergency details will be on the reverse off your ride number. NO HELMET = NO RIDE.

Cyclist are strongly reminded that they are responsible for thier own safety at all times.. Please remember this is NOT a race and riders are taking part for personal satisfaction.
