London Revolution celebrates rural and urban landmarks around the city. It takes participants on a tour of historical, natural, industrial, royal, sporting and architectural landmarks all stitched together with beautiful stretches of riding in between. The route is challenging but it is within range of the committed cyclist willing to follow the training plans we provide. The London Revolution takes the best elements of the world's top one-day cycling events such as flawless timing, signage, pit stops, safety and above all an exceptional route, but makes this a two day event with an overnight stop at basecamp that unites people.
This year cyclists will set off clockwise south from Lee Valley Athletics Centre, through Central London early on Saturday morning. Once they've cleared the City, they will head out into the stunning climbs and descents of the North Downs before heading west towards Windsor Great Park and basecamp at Ascot Racecourse. After a good night's rest, riders will get back in the saddle for a shorter Sunday back to the start via the Chiltern Hills and ancient Epping Forrest
