Back2Basics Reliability Trial

After last years successful format for the Solihull CC Back2Basics Reliability Trial, the 2012 edition will take pace on Sunday 18th March starting from Earlswood, near Solihull with excellent motorway links.  Again there will be two rides, 80 miles and 60 miles.  The 80 mile ride passes through the The Lenches and then loops around the south side of Bredon Hill with about 750 meters of climbing, while the 60 mile short cuts along the Avon towards Evesham and 500 meters of climbing.  On both rides there will be an optional slight detour for refreshments at Evesham where the famous bread pudding can be enjoyed.   The 80 mile ride starts at 8.30 and the 60 mile at 09.00.

Inspired by memories of "100 in 8" in the 50s and 60s the event will impose a minimum average speed of 12.5 mph to complete the course in order to qualify for a finishers certificate.  

Entry Fees for both rides are £6 on the day, £4 on line.
