The main 105k route takes in a total of 6 passes in a figure of eight loop. Starting from Keswick the route climbs up over Whinlatter pass to Lorton, Buttermere, Newlands Hause to Stair, Grange, Honister pass, back through Buttermere & Lorton, Whinlatter Pass, Newlands Hause, Buttermere, Honister Pass, Keswick.
The 90k course takes in the same route over the passes of Whinlatter, Newlands, Honister & Whinlatter, turning left at Stair to follow the lake the road along to Grange before turning left on the B5289 to Keswick.
The 46k route comprises the climbs of Whinlatter & Newlands before heading along to Grange & returning to Keswick.
