The 2012 OYB Cycle Rides start and finish at Sonning Common Primary School in Grove Road. There are three routes which explore leafy lanes and the stunning local countryside, ranging from 5.5 miles to 12 miles, and up to 20 miles.
Riders will be set off in groups of ten, at one minute intervals. Children under 16 must be under the authority of a responsible adult and stay with that adult for the duration of the cycle. We recommend that each adult is responsible for no more than 2 children under 16.
Entry fees are £5 per individual, in advance. Enter before 23rd March 2011 and your name will be automatically entered into the free draw for a fabulous new bike, kindly donated by AW Cycles! Entries for the bike ride on the day will be £7 per individual, subject to space.
100% of all entry fees and all monies raised are shared between Sue Ryder and Sonning Common Primary School
Hot and cold healthy snacks and drinks will be available from 10am until 1.30pm in the school hall.
There will be a water station after 3 miles on each ride. The long route riders pass the same point after 9 miles.
