I had no experience of SAG wagon so cannot evaluate it - I think this question should have an N/A option.

But an excellent event, very well organised - many thanks.

A friendly, well organised event. The course is a challenge, as the name suggests, but the scenery is beautiful. This is a refreshing antidote to some of the larger events, which can feel rather corporate. In contrast this feels like a welcoming, local event. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an early season ride.

Great day out, really good ride, I love a challenge and this was the perfect mix of a beautiful course with some great challenge points. Everyone was really friendly and the course was cleverly designed to keep you off major roads wherever possible.

Very impressed with helpful and friendly staff, and although I didn't need any help, I noticed plenty of support vehicles and marshall's along the route.
The route itself was the toughest ride i had done. I said to myself that I would not do this again, but on reflection, I probably would with a better approach to prepare.
I have given a 10/10 on everything about the WHC because I cannot find any faults at all. Even the weather was perfect, so many thanks to all who put this sportive together and hope to be back for next year.
I have already recommended this event to relatives and friends who i know would relish these sort of rides.

Great route, but it would be even better if we were able to avoid the longish stretches on the A4 into and A361 out of Avebury. Choppingknife Lane from Marlborough is very tight with no passing places for much if it's length - couple of close shaves with oncoming cars

I have marked down on the Signage (which was excellent) because I used the link provided to download a GPX file of the course which right from the start my Garmin was telling me that I was off-course.
On review of the site after the event I found that there were actually three different versions of the GPX file available for download and all different!

An excellent sportive and I can see now why it's so popular for all the right reasons as above.

Overall brilliant but a couple of the right turns could have been better selected for marshalling.

This is the 7th time I have ridden this event. On this occasion I didn't use any of the feed stops, but based on previous times when I have stopped at them they have been well stocked with appropriate food/drink.

It will clearly organised, well communicated and incredibly well run on the day. Massive thanks also to the Mobile Mechanic, who came in great use following a puncture/tyre split and to the lady with the big bowl of jelly beans at the bottom of a hill (she was a very welcome sight!)
The feeling of the event was good, cheery and friendly. You organised some great weather too(!!!) and the feed stations appropriately placed. Marshalling and signage were clear too and this made it feel a safer event (even though travelling down some of the steeper hills at 30mph with brakes fully on made the heart rate increase a little!)

Overall, a great event.
Thank you all and well done
