Superb sportive and a very challenging route. I would like to see the timing chips have the ability to stop at the feed stations and then restart when leaving to give a clearly riding time of the event rather than elapsed time.

Excellent event from start to finish. Save some energy for the hills in the last few miles. For me this was a bucket list event and a one off. I was fortunate to ride with 5 other great club mates from Bolsover & District Cycling Club, that really made a difference.
It's the best sportive I've done, in all respects.

Good well run event, however slightly shorter and less elevation than advertised. However would do it again and would cycle back the next day.

A really well run and organised event, the route takes you through some of the best scenery the British Isles has to offer. The distance and elevation make this route a real challenge, make sure you have something in the tank for the climbs through the Yorkshire Moors. Well stocked feedstops with plenty of choice, the pork pie at the last feedstop was a particular highlight for me! All the marshals and support staff were really friendly and supportive throughout and top notch photos not just from 1 point but from along the whole route. Looking forward to doing it again!

A really well organised event. Staff at registration and throughout the event were really friendly and supportive.
There were some issues with theft from some peoples bikes but I don't think that we the organisers fault, I noticed that they were quite vigilant, but some people left very valuable satnavs on the bikes. Advise next time on risk of thefts for all events would be beneficial. Could have done with a cycle repair centre. I rated down the event slightly in the support and facilities section as a result.

It is only the second sportive I have done. My first experience put me off because it had poor feed stations and a lack of support. The fact that I have already booked my hotel next year, in anticipation speaks volumes for this event. If I could I would shake the hand of every organiser and volunteer. Thank you.

I did this ride last year and loved everything about it. Came again this year but sadly got knocked off my bike on Hardknott Pass and suffered damage to self AND bike. Retired at Kendal - reluctantly. Would still rate this event the best organised and friendliest on the event circuit. James and ALL his team are just fantastic and a credit to themselves. Thank you all. One little niggle - this is such an iconic ride there really ought to be a t shirt available to buy. I skpoke to loads of people desparate to buy one. Make them non specific to a year and you would nit get stuck with stock. Bruce Marr Rider Number 463.

Overall once at the start on Sat morning, the event was fantastic & I definitely intend to return in 2015
Greater availability of energy gels etc. at feed stations would be a bonus.

Second time doing this event, and both years have been absolutely brilliant.
Very difficult to find a fault with the route or the organisation... Only improvement would be if they can install a chair-lift up Hardknott for next year :)
