a good well organised event, enjoyed course and scenery, the only improvement for me would be a bit of savory food at the stations, there's only so much sugar and sweet you can eat! the sarny's at the end would have been an ideal en route alternative! other than would do again and recommend.

Fantastic
Only issues were the man who decided to drive down michaelgate when everyone was coming up and the old woman who told me off for pushing my bike on the footpath when I got cramp. Both out of organisers control

THANK YOU!

It was a great event, despite the 40km of stiff headwind I loved it all. Next year I'll have to be fitter.

My First sportive, did the short route, everything was spot on, mid way feed stop was particularly good with good choice of foodstuffs. Well done to whoever made the 'wall' of sandwiches at the finish as well. Cobbled uphill finish really tests the resolve but plenty of spectators encouragement made sure i made it, will definetly be back again and recommend it to anyone.

I thoroughly enjoyed your event. I did this sportive as a challenge to see how well I had recovered from a spiral fracture of my right femur and other pelvic injuries I sustained in a crash on the 23rd October 2011. Your revised short distance proved challenging for me, but I came thru' it rejuvinated in that fact that I could still cycle and post a time of 4-07.21. Keep the 63 mile circuit, your Sportive deserves it - especially the finish up Michaelgate - Brilliant. I'll be back next year.

I did the short course both this year and last year and the feed station was much better supplied last year, although good this year, there were no hot drinks and only one part filled water urn. This was the only thing that was a little disappointing i think its a great sportive, the route is lovely and the marshalls were all very helpful.

Feed stops slightly too sugar based. Could have done with some starchy comestibles.
Pleasant people operating feed stops. Good course - very scenic.
Event could be linked in with other partners more to help promote cycling / Lincolnshire - plenty of room at start/finish venue for it. My first sportive and for me it lacked a social aspect - but it may not relate to just to this event. Enjoyed it though - thanks.

the only issue for this event would be sign post the route from the finnish to the race HQ / car park.
i know there was a route on the rear of the map but the last thing on my mind was reading this after the effort of getting up that hill.

Much improved event, did it last year and ITP events have obviously listened and learn't from that experience to deliver an improved route and very well organised event. Look forward to doing it again next year, well done.

Really enjoyed this one. Route was excellent with a very exciting finish on the cobbled hill climb that had riders buzzing with anticipation during the ride. Did not stop at feeds so could not comment on them except for was at a good distance. Loved the printout at hq of your current position. Would have been good to of had time standards to ride for. Can't fault the route, 63 miles. Was very fast. Signage was adequate and riders friendly. Finishing in such an iconic and historic part of Lincoln was fab. Perfect to grab a post ride pint and a pie. Was great to be cheered and clapped up the final climb. Well done. Hope to be back next year to do the longer route

This may sound a little negative but i believe for a 25 pound entry fee i feel a little short changed. For one the course distances were changed only being told due to road closers a week before the event. The timing chip did not take into account feed stops. Basic phone apps have this function. There was no goodie bag at the end. I have recieved a lot more at sportives that have cost a fraction of the price. On the plus side the roads were lovely and quiet. And the company along the way was great. I believe that the organisers of such events really need to look at the pricing of these events. I feel they could be damaging an obviously growing passtime. And also pricing certain sections of the community getting involved.
