A good effort, but given the dreadful weather it's difficult to give a balanced rating.
Well designed route - liked the new start loop up Buttermilk Hill & jackson's bank. Good mechanical support - which was just as well!

Overall an excellent event.
Because Timings , Signage , Support , Course , are some of the best i have ever encountered.
Especially the quiet roads , the excellent signs , chose of courses to suit all abilities.
Unfortunatly the £2 charge to park especially after paying £27 for the event i thought was taking advantage , the "car park" was actually a field of long grass. ?
Cannot comment on quality of the Feed Stops" as i used my own. but I thought the spacings were good.
As for the negative comments on the pasta. a little harsh , the girls were cheerfull and it was free , and you try keeping pasta ready for riders arriving upto 3 hours appart, Mine want down very quickly ,thanks girls .

As normal a very tough event, made harder this year by very high winds. But well organised. Pasta was tastless though

Lets get the negative out the way first - the 'bean pasta' at the finish was tasteless mush I'm afraid - thats why I only gave 6/10 for feed stops. Thankfully I had provisions in the car.
A great event - I rode the 73 mile route for the second year - would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to ride a 'good' sportive event for the first time.

Thought it was great, and the pasta went down a treat. Could have eaten 2 or 3 bowls after fighting that wind for 7 hours.

Overall a very good and well organised event. I really enjoyed it and would do this again. The feed stations were well equipped. The only thing that I will criticize is that you had to pay for parking but that is all really. I would recommend to anyone this ride as it is as good as it is challenging.

Great event - this is my 2nd ever sportive & I did the shorter 73 mile event, the route was excellent with just the right amount of climbs to make it tough enough & interesting. I thought the Rolliston Centre was excellent with a very friendly sign on & the free pasta was a nice touch at the end. The staff at the very welcome first feed station in Stanton were very cheerful & supportive. I will be back next year maybe for the 103 miler?

Well organised, great route, friendly marshalls and support staff. Only lack of showers at the end is the only (minor) downside for riders tarvelling reasonable distance to the event.

Another great ride and very well organised. Think this event stands out because of the quite roads and route. Just hope it doesn't get too popular !!!
Note to organisers !!! I believe there was a lot of concern from locals yesterday about the amount of parking on the road outside the Forestry centre. I.e. cars parked on both side...An overflow car park next year would do the trick...
Again well done on a fantastic event...

Just completed the 73 miler and thoroughly enjoyed the quieted rolling course. Great feed stop and great to have a bowl of pasta at the end, a drink would have been nice. My only criticism was the lack of clear signage leading to the finish line, so I (and many others) got lost in the car park at the finish unable to find the finish!! Overall great event and no rain this year!

Very well organised event with good food stations and a good, traffic free route with nie scenery. A tough and challenging ride and one I would definitely do again.

A great event will ride again next year, I knew what to expect having ridden regular in the area, the torrential rain/hail that arrived whilst climbing Thorncliffe took the fun out of it a bit!!!!!!!! I think the amount of climbing took a lot of riders by surprise.

Great British weather made a reasonably tough course tough! Well organised, no traffic to speak of, scenic, and way more metres of climbing than advertised!
