From the organisers of the Autumn Epic, and a sell out event in 2009, the third running of the Devil Ride 100 mile cyclosportive takes in many of the classic climbs of mid Wales, including the infamous Devils Staircase - click here for an excellent write-up of the inaugural event. The route this year is a little different to 2008-9, as we are moving to a new event centre, but the character remains unchanged. We rode over the new route in December and it is both beautiful and challenging - we clocked about 155km and around 3000m of climbing and enjoyed breathtaking views.

The Devil Ride 2010 is a challenging cyclosportive - riders on the full route will take on many significant climbs - but the ride is more than just a chance to take on the Staircase: the Devil Ride is never a bleak moorland slog. The highlands of the southern Cambrians are ever changing, and the route has plenty of quieter valley stretches to give riders an opportunity to catch their breath and take in the varied rural landscapes of mid Wales.

A shorter route will be on offer for those who prefer a more laid-back day out...it might also suit you if you are tapering for LEtape Du Tour or recovering from La Marmotte :-)

As always, number one in our priority list is the enjoyment factor. We love riding in this area, and we want to showcase some of the best scenery on offer, while giving riders a day out to remember.
