Polka Dot Challenge Latest Results
This is a well established (9th annual) sportive over some of the toughest terrain & most attractive countryside in England. This one event is in place of the original Polkadot & "Spud" Riley Memorial events. It is on the same date as the original Polkadot but on the "Spud" course which is on very quiet "B" & unclassified roads. There are 16 classified climbs & it is set in the calendar approx 5wks. before LEtape Du Tour so is ideal preparation for anyone doing it. Its been kept simply organised, 150 route arrows, Parking for 350 cars @ HQ.2 feeding stations Proceeds (after costs of food & drink) to Christies Cancer Hospital.
Total to date an amazing £62,000.just from entry fees. The atmosphere at this event is very friendly & comments on Forums in the past confirm this. We cater for all types of rider from Elite superstars who want to really test themselves, to riders who want to take in the scenery & have a leisurely days riding.
