Test Valley New Forest Cyclosportive Latest Results
The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens at Ampfield near Romsey play hosts again for this July road route which includes a complete circuit of the New Forest, the wonderful scenery, roadside wildlife with the usual delightful river valleys including the Test of course! The Forest is never as flat as you would expect with plenty of teasing short climbs interspersed with great flowing sections of quiet roads.
The well established 150km Sportive route is now more challenging with greater percentage of climbing than the Challenge or Tour route and each Sportive finisher receives a commemorative engraved completion award as well as extra feed stations and back up. For those riders who find the Sportive too far, there is a 100km Challenge route with the same enjoyment factor as the Sportive, just a little less gradient and few less miles. The 50 km Tour route is a gently trip out around the edge of the Forest this year on mostly quiet country lanes with few climbs to worry about.
All Tour riders can expect ONLINE pre entry (limit 500), clearly marked route designed by cyclists and police approved, fully manned water stops and feed stations with free energy drink, fully detailed colour map showing the route, mobile marshals, start and mobile mechanic, broom wagon, mobile phone support, ample parking, massage marquee, event photographer, tarmac start & finish area, computerised timing & results, toilets and full refreshments at the venue. Entry on the day will be available if the limit is not reached by closing date.
You have the oportunity to bring your family & friends to enjoy the gardens whilst you cycle. Each competitor will also receive a 2 for 1 voucher to Hillier Gardens.
