A last sharpner before heading off to the big mountains in Mainland Europe. 2 long climbs of 9 km and 7 km and over 4,000 m of total ascent with some of the most spectacular sea views on offer. The longest route is 164 km (103 miles) in length and features 4,127meters (13,393 ft) of climbing making this one the hardest sportives in the UK. The Shorter 135 km (85 mile) route is still hard with lots of climbing so choose the route that suites your level of fitness.

The Challenge takes place on Saturday 3rd July, starting at 10.30am from Larne Youth Club Rooms (Sandy Bay), which offers ample car parking and changing facilities. The route follows the Antrim Coast Road which has some of the most spectacular scenery in Ireland. The halfway stage is in the beautiful village of Cushendun where you will be provided with some lunch before embarking on the return to Larne.All funds raised will purchase building materials for a Multi-Purpose Care Centre helping Orphan Children in Malawi.

Choose from a 25, 50 or 100 mile loop in the Northamptonshire countryside with chip timing for accurate results and a free cream tea for all CTC finishers

125 mile route, covering the 3 counties of Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria. Climbing over The Coal Road, Buttertubs and the infamous Kirkstone Pass.
60 mile route, following 125 mile route before diverting at Dent and going over Kingsdale into Ingleton and then through country lanes back to HQ.
25 mile family route, is an ideal introduction for youngsters to experience a cyclosportive event whilst also raising money for Cancer Care.

A choice of 100km or 100 mile routes to choose from, both will test your riding skills to the limit! This savage but beautiful part of England will provide a fantastic backdrop for what is bound to be a popular event. THE 1066 RIDE
This Cyclosportive is part of the SRS EVENTS 2010 CYCLOSPORTIVE SERIES
To cater for most abilities there are 4 choices of distance 104mile, 85 miles, 66 miles & 35 mles.
The routes take riders through some lovely lanes of Sussex over undulating countryside with one or two notable hard climbs to conquer.
With all the important elements of a well run Cyclosportive, This event is not to be missed.

04/07/2010, Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire
Based on a start/finish in Stourport on Severn, the event will have 2 distances 165km Stinger and 105km Mini Stinger, taking in some stunning Worcestershire and Shropshire country side. The course takes inspiration from the Ronde van Vlanderaan, with a series of 12 hard climbs coming in the final Stinger section. Some minor course adjustments will be made to avoid the residential area where some signs (4) were removed overnight in 2009. Free parking, free showers and changing facilities, post ride food and drink, massage, - all in our club & event HQ, Stourport Sports Club.

The Sir Harold Hillier Gardens near Romsey are again our hosts this year for a refreshed road route which includes a complete circuit of the New Forest, plus the usual delightful river valleys including the Test of course! Sportive 150 km route plus our usual 100 km Challenge route, and 50 km Tour route.

Each event covers many active sections of the East Midlands International CiCLE Classic course used by the Elite international riders in their race on Sunday 25th April 2010. In addition extra off road sections are included in the route of all three events and light tyres are not recommended. " A ride with a difference!"

04/07/2010, Carmarthenshire, Wales
Hosted at The National Botanic Garden of Wales, 2 miles off A 48, Carmarthenshire, offering acres of free parking, full restaurant facilities and trade shows. This event offers an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy. The sportive offers three rides and all enjoy the dramatic scenery of the Brecon Beacons crossing over the Black Mountain before the routes split. Druid 50 miles, Cothi 70 miles and Merlin 104 miles.
Druid follows unclssified road from Llangadog through Bethlehem and return to Gardens, Cothi and Merlin continue to Llansawel with Cothi following Cothi river valley through Brechfa before returning to Gardens. Merlin riders, who are expected to have a higher fitness level will continue to Llanybyther, Newcastle Emlyn and return to gardens.
A reasonable level of fitness and experience is essential. The event raises money to support both Wales Air Ambulance and MacMillan Cancer Support.
