As a British Cycling Registered Sportive, the Reg Harris Cyclosportive is taking place on Sunday 24th August 2014 and gives riders the choice of a 51 mile route, a 26 mile route and a 6 mile taster route. Reg Harris was a world champion racing cyclist in the 1940s and 50s, born and raised in Bury, Lancashire. The local Rotary Club, together with the support of Reg's family, is organising the cyclosportive to raise money for local charities and celebrate Reg's achievements and cycling career.
