Both routes head out along Spaanschemat River Road and over the eastern side of Ou Kaapse Weg to Sun Valley. The 88 km continues straight over Black Hill to Main Road, turns right through Simonstown, up Smitswinkel past Cape Point, through Scarborough, and up the Slangkop climb to Kommetjie before returning towards Fish Hoek.
