CTC CHAMPIONS hold the first all family sportive day with rides for everyone. There are 2 sportive routes to test the regular cyclists and the long hilly offering a good ride for experienced riders and the short flat route to offer a great first taste or come and try ride for those riders with ambitions of bigger rides later in the year.

From Technopark, cyclists doing the 100 km route go through Stellenbosch to tackle the climb over Helshoogte. Descend through Pniel past Boschendal to the T-junction (be careful on the railway lines). Cyclists will now turn left onto the R45 and go towards Paarl. Second in the series of Mini Sportives. Two great routes areound the Cheshire lanes. Two relatively flat routes 30 miles and 50 miles designed to get you fit and ease your way back after the winter break Although this is not a full blown sportive we still have all the event features you would expect. This is the sixth and last event of the Chiltern Classics Reliability Rides for 2012. The route commences from the village hall in Edlesborough and travels through Slapton before turning south back through Ivinghoe to climb Ivinghoe Beacon.
