The Bikeathon is a non-competitive event open to amateur cyclists of all ages. Three routes from Norman Park in Bromley cover either 25, 50 or 100 kilometres of varied cycling around the North Kent and Surrey borders
The stunning Meon Valley with its green country side and quiet lanes provides the back drop for the Mega Meon sportive. The course winds it ways through the Meon Valley up to Alton, crossing the South Downs and includes the highest hill on the Downs - Butser Hill.
The three routes of 97 miles, 56 miles and a family friendly 7miles start and finish on the Village Green in Mentmore, near Leighton Buzzard. The long routes take in all the best climbs in Buckingham and Bedfordshire and are followed by festivities on the Green making an ideal day for all the family.
The Reigate Sportive is a nicely paced and balanced route from the North Downs out towards the Kent Weald around Sevenoaks and Hever Castle. The ride eases you into your day with its early miles providing a perfect leg stretcher, before delivering you into a deceptively hilly mid section that sets the biggest of the days challenges. Starting in the Scottish Borders town of Galashiels the route rolls along the quiet back roads to Innerleithen, Heriot, and Stow.
