Selling out in its first 4 years, 'The New Forest 100 Sportive', is back... the pinnacle event of the 'New Forest Cycle Festival'; which attracted over 2700 riders in 2012. Ful-On Tri organise this cyclosportive in memory of champion triathlete Dave Aitchison who died suddenly in January 2007 from an undetected heart defect. The Surrey Legs of Steel, Dave Aitchison Challenge Ride offers two distances, 81km and a 46km, with both routes starting and finishing at Box Hill National Trust Park, near Dorking, Surrey.
Starting in the quaint village of Prestwood, we quickly descend into Great Missenden, the resting place and once home of legendary British author Roald Dahl. From here, we take on a gentle climb to Ballinger Common, once used as a setting for 'Midsomer Murders'! This is where we really start to enjoy some excellent trails. The route offers plenty of short and occasionally steep climbs, which are rewarded by an abundance of stunning scenery and fast descents. Look out for the PM's country retreat...

Taking place on the 6th October 2013, the Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Pennines will once again provide riders with an end of season challenge. Taking place on completely closed roads, the 78 mile course combines long and steep climbs with breathtaking views and exhilarating downhill sections, making it one of the most physically and aesthetically rewarding sportives in the UK.
2013 will see the Lands End 100 return for it's 3rd Year, and event organiser Carrick Leisure Ltd are hoping to see another increase in rider entries and break the 1000 mark. The routes will stay the same as 2012 offering some of the most scenic parts of the UK. The Castles and Cathedrals Sportive offers an end of season challenge. This 92 mile ride offers starts in both Cardiff and Brecon. You can choose to ride between either Brecon and Cardiff, or vice versa, starting at either location or complete the whole loop again choosing your starting point.
