The Peterborough Cycling Club sporive on Sunday 8th July is now open for entries. This is the second year it has been run and was rated at over 90% on cyclosport last year. It has everything the commercial events have except for the long queues and high entry price! A cycling event run by local cyclists - who else will know the roads better? To enter go to http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/77493/Peterborough-Cycling-Club-Sportive?awc=3405_1327673187_12c7e685a22df2adaafd7447952ecd3a For more details see the event is the cyclosport calendar or email me on thewildride@hotmail.co.uk Here is a small selection of the comments from some of last years riders: Ian, let me say well done on organising a great event, well run, good challenging route without being silly hard. Good feed and atmosphere! Well done again and looking forward to doing your ‘wild’ ride again

Hello Ian Just wanted to congratulate you on the well organised event today, I did the tame route, I really enjoyed the route which was well sign posted also the feed stop was 1st class with a good selection food snacks and drinks, will there be another event next year? I hope so. Once again Ian well done. Regards Robert White
I would just like to thank you and everyone involved in the running of yesterdays excellent event. I’ve done a number of sportives this year and this was by far the best organized, and it had a great old school feel to it. The route was well signed and set in beautiful countryside, with the bonus of riding on the wheel of Steve Lampier for a few miles. I hope you plan on running the event next year as I’m sure through word of mouth the numbers will grow. The best £10 I’ve ever spent on cycling. All the best. Dean List
