Due to the popularity of the Dawn Raid sportive, it will be returning as part of Hero Ride once again! Setting off in the small hours of the morning, the route starts from the Help for Heroes run Recovery Centre at Tedworth House in Wiltshire, where wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women are helped with their recovery. Participants ride through sunrise passing through Wiltshire, Hampshire and Surrey to the iconic Box Hill, retracing the tracks of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race heroes, before taking a turn into south London, to stop at Blackheath Common where riders unite with people on other Hero Rides coming from all over the country. Here everyone creates one giant peloton to cycle into the Central London together for the Hero Ride Grand Finale.
