Even where there is traffic there is invariably someone hanging out of the car window cheering you on rather than the usual beeping and near misses. "With over 24 million gripped by the recent royal wedding this was another royal feast served up for the participants in the fourth event of the Wiggle Super Series. Temperatures in the low twenties, clear skies and a great route made this a must do sportive when selecting rides for 2011. "I find the Chilterns, a 76km stretch of Chalk escarpment that stretches across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, a rather intriguing place.  I have been lucky enough to ride my bike around this area a few times now and each time it has been an absolute pleasure. The Chilterns Dipper, split up in to three courses; Big Dipper, Little Dipper and Mini Dipper. "The New Forest is a beautiful place to cycle. While it remains, on the whole, unchallenging, it provides a fantastic backdrop to enjoy the simple pleasure of riding a bike. "A great flowing ride that allowed you to maintain a high average despite the sometimes poorly surfaced roads. A good mix of A and B roads with a couple of testing climbs to sustain interest along with a couple of descents that ensured you kept concentration levels high.
