Wiggle Etape Cymru Early Bird Price Freeze Extended to Christmas Day

by Nick Gregory

With Christmas just around the corner, Human Race has decided to extend its early bird price freeze offer for the Wiggle Etape Cymru until Christmas Day.

This means that anyone who enters the event between now and 25th December 2013 will pay the same entry price as for last year's event. The Wiggle Etape Cymru will take place on Sunday 14th September 2014 and the route for the event is once more set to take in around 88 miles of scenic and sensational Wrexham and Denbighshire countryside in North Wales.

The early bird price freeze offer had been due to end on Saturday 30 November but Human Race is feeling the Christmas spirit this year and is keen to give prospective entrants yet another reason to enter the UK's most challenging closed-road sportive. For 2014 Human Race aims to build on many of the successes from the 2013 Wiggle Etape Cymru event. Therefore, the route -which will be revealed shortly- will be as undulating, technical and testing as always. The event will once more take place on closed roads, meaning that amateur cyclists can share in a professional rider's experience.

All participants will be encouraged to fundraise for the Official National Charity Partner of the Wiggle Etape Cymru, Macmillan Cancer Support. The money raised by entrants to the event will be used to help Macmillan support not only people affected by cancer, but everyone their cancer has an impact on, from partners, to children, to friends and carers.

Many riders will also be supporting Local Charity Partner, Nightingale House. The charity provides specialist palliative care services, completely free-of-charge, to patients and their families across a wide regional area stretching from: Wrexham, Flintshire and East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch.
