The official jersey for this year's edition of the Mallorca 312 - Giant - Taiwan has been unveiled. This year, as a result of efforts from the sportive's organisers to promote women's cycling and the collaboration of Liv (the first and only brand for female cyclists) there will also be an exclusive jersey for women.

The presentation took place at the Hotel Iberostar Playa de Muro, the same place where all 3.000 participants in the event will start on 25 April. The launch was attended by the Mallorcan cyclist, Enric Mas (Team Specialized - Fundación Alberto Contador), representatives of Giant and Taiwan and Lorenzo Fluxá (owner of the hotel Iberostar Playa de Muro).

Others in attendance included Marcel Iseli (representing event sponsor, Bicycle Holidays), Xisco Lliteras (director of the Mallorca312), Miquel Alzamora (technical director of the Mallorca312), as well as various other sponsors of the Mallorca312 such as Macià Batle, Futurtrans, El Limón and Ferromolins.

With just three weeks to go until the Mallorca 312 the event is set to yet again break all records, with 3.000 participants and important new sponsors.

The Mallorca312 is one of the biggest cycling challenges worldwide. It serves up a 312km route around the whole of the island of Mallorca with more than 4,300 meters of climbing. Despite its challenging nature, the Mallorca312 is characterised by a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and also by its close links to international charity, UNICEF.

As in previous editions there is an alternative route, the Mallorca 167 - Bicycle Holidays Max Hürzeler, which consists of 167 kilometers and 2,600 vertical meters in the north of the island. In both routes, cyclists will ride through the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESO.

Cyclosport voted the Mallorca312 as one of the Top Five Overseas Sportives. Nick Gregory took on the challenge in 2014. Read his review HERE.
