Etape Caledonia

The Marie Curie Cancer Care Etape Caledonia was the UK's first closed road sportive and is still considered one of Britain's most prestigious cycling events. Each year the beautiful town of Pitlochry welcomes over 5,000 riders, ready and raring to tackle the 81 mile course which includes some of the most breathtaking views in the Scottish Highlands.

Riders pass Loch Tummel and Loch Rannoch early on before a steep King of the Mountains climb up Schiehallion. With the steepest hill now behind you, the remainder of the route makes for relatively easy riding, and there's a festival atmosphere to look forward to at the finish line. A must for both experienced riders and first timers alike.
