Online entries for the Wiggle Shropshire Mynd on 15th September remain open until noon on Friday 13th. With the warm weather set to return in good time for this challenging sportive, make the most of the opportunity to ride on some of the best cycling roads in Britain.

Dipping into the old Welsh county of Montgomeryshire along the ancient Offa's Dyke, Shropshire itself is known (or should that be unknown) as the secret county; that's because it's a relatively undiscovered gem with high mountains, wooded valleys, unspoilt villages, ancient castles and babbling rivers and streams. Traffic volumes are low, and roads are quiet, with several long and exhilarating 'brakes-off' descents to enjoy.
