Take to the Track for High Octane Action at the Thruxton100 Cycle Challenge

Cycling challenge, the Thruxton100 will take place at Thruxton Motorsport Circuit this September and children's charity, Action Medical Research is calling for riders to sign up now for the event on 6-7 September 2014. 

Cyclists can flex their muscles and push themselves to the limit on this unique charity sportive at the awesome Thruxton Motorsport Circuit. The circuit offers one of the smoothest rides cyclists will ever have and offers the perfect opportunity to register a personal best for a 100-mile bike ride. 

Fast and flat, with no traffic, just 42 laps stand between cyclists and their goal. With a choice of four start times, there's a time to suit everyone. Entrants can even make a weekend of it and camp over to watch the action! 


This event is part of the charity's popular RIDE100 series of one-day bike rides that take place in fantastic cycling locations across the UK. All include chip timing, food and water stations, lunch, marshals and mechanics.  

Cyclists participating in the Thruxton100 will be raising money to help fund medical research into conditions affecting babies and children. Action Medical Research has been funding medical breakthroughs since it began in 1952. The charity is currently supporting work around stillbirth, epilepsy, meningitis, cerebral palsy and brain cancer, as well as some rare and distressing conditions that severely affect children.
