Take On the Pave of Dent in the Kendal Sportive in March

Whether you are training for Fred Whitton or Etape du Dales or just want to make the most of the start of British Summer Time and ride on some of the best cycling roads around, this sportive is enough of a challenge for hardened sportives or first timers option.

Two great routes that show case the best views of the Yorkshire 3 peaks (almost climbing Whernside on the climb of Kingsdale), Lakeland and  Howgill Fells. If you enjoy the spring classic road races on the continent this course has very similar roads. With the pave of Dent giving your bones and bike a shake before tackling the Mur du Huy of Kingsdale.


Sector Number 1 (600ms of Pave)

The routes are all way marked and a route card is given to every competitor at Registration. Emergency numbers will be on the route card and the there will be a following sweep vehicle. Marshals will be at the split point between the long and shorter courses in Dent. The Long route has a feed at Ingleton with hot drinks and food. Electronic timing will record the time it takes you and check in at Ingleton.
