Cotswold Spring Classic Sportive Takes Place on Easter Monday

There's just a week left to get your entry in for the Cotswold Spring Classic sportive, supporting Against Breast Cancer (and get free beer too!!) Entry for the ever popular, Cotswold Spring Classic sportive, supporting Against Breast Cancer that takes place on Easter Monday (2nd April) closes in just under a week.

This early season opener has grown in popularity over the years and, now in its 10th edition, kicks the season off for many riders.


The event takes to the roads of the stunning Cotswolds countryside, giving riders a choice of three well signed routes (55km, 104km and 165km) - so the perfect early season leg tester. Each route includes well stocked feed stations, mechanical cover, motorcycle outrider support, medical cover, electronic timing (including timed hill sections on the mid and long routes) and much more. And when you return to the event HQ, you'll be treated to a freshly prepared hot pasta meal along with your event goodie bag which includes the all-important Easter egg to aid recover!!

Event organisers Velo Events, are also pleased to announce the latest event partner to come on-board - Hop Kettle Brewing Company. The locally based brewers are owned and run by a keen cyclist and will be giving every rider at the Cotswold Spring Classic (aged 18 and over!) a free bottle of one of their award-winning beers.


For those looking to make a longer (and maybe more challenging!!) weekend of it, the Spring Classic weekend starts on Easter Sunday with a 4-up Team Time Trial open to all riders. Covering a rolling 23.5 mile circuit, the team time trial gives you the opportunity to test both strength and teamwork, before taking on the hills of the Cotswolds the following day.

Along with Hop Kettle Brewing Company, the event is supported by Vittoria (wheels and tyres), TrueStart Coffee, High5 sports nutrition, Performance Cycles, GWAS Ambulance and Orbea bikes.
