Just Two Weeks Left to Enter the Guide Dogs Tour of Berkshire Sportive

Entries for the inaugural Guide Dogs Tour of Berkshire Cyclosportive will be closing on 16th March, and organisers have indicated that there has been a high level of interest from the general public - promising to make it an exciting day for all. 

There are just over two weeks remaining to enter the event, which will be held on 6th April 2014 - starting from the Guide Dogs headquarters in Burghfield Common, near Reading, Berkshire. 

The event is open to all and is suitable for regular sportive riders, charity riders and beginners. There are a variety of distance options to suit all abilities with a 41.5km Fun Ride running alongside an 84km Classic Sportive and a 125km Epic Sportive - aimed at riders looking for a tough early-season challenge.

The route takes participants through the beautiful Berkshire countryside, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Here you'll pass through the traditional villages of West Berkshire, negotiate a selection of short punchy climbs and experience the stunning scenery and quiet country lanes of the Royal County of Berkshire. 

Entry includes chip timing, fully sign posted course, aid stations, mechanic on site, on course support, sag wagon and refreshments on site. The event starts at 8:30, with registration taking place from 7:50. Here you will receive your numbers and timing chip.
