Attracting 2,500 riders in 2013, and now in its sixth year, the Wiggle South Downs 100 has become a classic end of season sportive. This fantastic event takes in the very best roads and climbs the South Downs have to offer.

An additional ingredient has been added to this proven event for 2014 in the form of a timed closed road climb of Butser Hill - the South Downs' highest point. The closed road section will feature music, cowbells and some crazy supporters to encourage riders up this challenging climb. The 'King of the Mountain' and the next two quickest riders will receive prizes for their efforts.

With 5 years of glowing reviews from riders, this great event will test out your legs before winter kicks in and the Sportive Season cools down.

In addition to the 'Epic' 100 mile route, there is a 'Standard' 73 mile and a 'Short' 42 mile route, allowing riders to choose their own challenge. All 3 routes take in the new closed road climb of Butser Hill!

The stunning circuit starts at Chichster and weaves through the breath-taking South Downs, taking in the leg burning Old Winchester and Uppark Hills. Riders will be rewarded however, with stunning views of the South Coast and the rolling patchwork Downs.

The South Downs 100 is the last chance for riders to get in a century on the 2014 Wiggle Super Series.
